I love the result - and Ben’s line for a title - and the line you chose for closure - and the stanza you made of my line - and and and. What a fun, simple collab. I hope you’ll wrangle more of these. :-)
It’s not easy is it..? A clue for mine would be; I chase this often - although not recently!I was thinking maybe yours was “Ethereal fairies promise hungover headache.” ? But there are others too… xx
While I do not ‘own’ a Stack, I wanna play too! A wonderful distraction!
Will drawing possibly include the final product by an artist , using other forms of art? For instance, designed by drawing, but the finished product might include paint, glass, or other forms of mixed media, as long as there is a photograph of the finished piece. Just pondering …🤔💭

I’m intrigued by them all Barrie… I’m hopelessly undecided by any other than those that have been mentioned here in comments and I wouldn’t have guessed those either! 🤯
I continue to be humbled and amazed that a community call-out can not only get participants but create a piece of magic. I learned something and enjoyed a moment of inspiration.
This was fun! And I love how it all came together! Brilliant editing, Julie, and thank you for the initiative!
FYI, I can't stop thinking in adjective noun verb adjective noun form and have since yesterday come up with more and more bizarre sentences... You did something to my brain 😜
Fun! Pretty easy! Started with four lines per stanza, decided three is better. Read it aloud a few times, moved one line first, then last, then made it the title. Moved a stanza or two around and ~ voila! 😁
Thanks, Tania! It’s an illustration for a set of chakra meditation cards I co-created with a dear friend a while back. It’s for the 2nd chakra, seat of emotions.
Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish! I love the title you chose Julie, thanks so much for inviting me to join in, Im trying to guess who wrote which lines..? It’s not easy…
What a fun idea, Julie. It reads like a snapshot of what's happening every minute of every day somewhere in this wild world of ours! I would have played, but I had to work yesterday. Next time, though, count me in!
I absolutely love how this came together- what a bit of magic! Thank you so much for the idea and the beautiful stitching together you did here, Julie!
okay, I have to fess up. For a minute there, I thought the title was from Ben. Just realized, not only is it yours, but so is the final line. Weird!! Love it.

It was such fun! Maybe a drawing one next time? Hello, Photoshop!
If anyone could pull that off, you could. :-)
challenge accepted!
Wonderful. An ode to Surrealism. Thank you so much for gathering our literary dali-ances and arranging them so exquisitely ✍️
I see what you did there! Dali-ances! 😂 Thanks for participating.
Such a fun thing to organise! 🙏
It’s been a pleasure.

Do I sense a movement to reveal authors? 🤔🧐
It’s fascinating to see if favourites have a discernible style and whether it reveals itself so easily in this collective effort.
Oh yes! Although I am enjoying guessing, I only have one right so far!! 💛
Ah, not mine!! Mine was a little darker…!
“The chaotic concubine assuages the ne'er-do-well Nobel laureate
as her ancient brush hovers over white parchment.”
Tell me you wrote at least part of this Barrie..?
Is this yours Susie!? “Hibiscus-tinged clouds drift across a periwinkle sky”? Xx
I would have guessed the same.
me, as well!
Emily Charlotte, would this be yours ?: 'A starlit wingtip slices the forgotten dream, ...'
Oh that line is beautiful, but not mine, alas. Mine is a little darker…
I wish they were Emily but no, mine are nowhere near as lovely… maybe these are Barrie’s words..?
Hmmm, so now I must search again!! Guessing whose line is whose is such fun!! I got Sara’s line, and I know Kendall’s and Ben’s….
I think Susie may have written one of these two lines: 'Valerian thugs induce summer nightmares,
a lonely girl strokes a furry cat.
Their haunting murmurs linger on in the yawning dark.'
Ah, I wonder! I think there are three lines, and at least one of them I know isn’t Susie’s!! 😊
A very poor line about suggestive clouds was the best I could do … my concubine tales are best left unpublished!

I subscribed, I know, long overdue! Now you have my info.
Terrific! Welcome! 💚
Haha… but damn! I was convinced they were yours too! Definitely the mention of a concubine threw me!
Mm, perhaps I did write a couple of (ahem) ‘vividly themed’ pieces early on in my ‘Just Write’ days.
Now I’m intrigued as to who DID write that line!! 🤣
I’m intrigued by them all Barrie… I’m hopelessly undecided by any other than those that have been mentioned here in comments and I wouldn’t have guessed those either! 🤯
This was a nice little diversion. There are some gems tucked in here. Thanks for hosting, Julie!
Thanks for participating, Ben! A little bts — I had your line first, I tried it last, then decided it makes a great title. (hope you don’t mind.)
That wasn’t my line, I don’t think. Mine was the mercurial moods one.
Oh yeah!!! I already forgot!! Sheesh. 😒 Still, you deserve special thanks anyway -- as the OG of community writing projects.

Well said. I had no idea what would happen and zero expectations. A good lesson for me, creatively. ☺️
I would have absolutely joined had I understood what the heck to do 🤣
hahahaaa! next time!
same!!
Glad I wasn’t alone 🤣
This was fun! And I love how it all came together! Brilliant editing, Julie, and thank you for the initiative!
FYI, I can't stop thinking in adjective noun verb adjective noun form and have since yesterday come up with more and more bizarre sentences... You did something to my brain 😜
Broke it! hahahaaa. I've been describing the world to myself that way, too. Maybe it'll wear off soon.
Glad I'm not the only one! 🤣
Sara! Please tell me if your line was “while ornate plates smash baroque tiles.”…!?
WOAH!! You guessed it! REALLY.
Oooh!! Am I right!? Yay. It seemed a fitting line for a potter 💛✨
ha! I couldn't help myself 🤣
Thanks for inviting me to join in. How was the editing process?? This is beautiful …

What a fun idea! And your painting, wow!
Thanks, Tania! It’s an illustration for a set of chakra meditation cards I co-created with a dear friend a while back. It’s for the 2nd chakra, seat of emotions.
I would have thought you painted it for the poetry piece.
😊
So fun! Oddly or perhaps group synchronicity, it all echoes together, thanks to Julie’s creative assembly!
There were definitely a bunch of recurring images. Fun to play with the resonances.
So fun! Thank you for doing this, Julie.
Thanks for participating!
Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish! I love the title you chose Julie, thanks so much for inviting me to join in, Im trying to guess who wrote which lines..? It’s not easy…
Drawing you say..? I’d be up for that too!
You’re on! Thanks for playing. 🥰
What a fun idea, Julie. It reads like a snapshot of what's happening every minute of every day somewhere in this wild world of ours! I would have played, but I had to work yesterday. Next time, though, count me in!
For sure! Thanks for reading.
So much fun and the result so unpredictably delightful. It's amazing how these things work. And yes, I'd be up for a drawing one.
Oh, goody!! We'll try that soon.
I absolutely love how this came together- what a bit of magic! Thank you so much for the idea and the beautiful stitching together you did here, Julie!
okay, I have to fess up. For a minute there, I thought the title was from Ben. Just realized, not only is it yours, but so is the final line. Weird!! Love it.
I can't imagine getting mixed up, Julie! 😅 Totally understandable, and it was indeed a surprise to bookend this poem with my lines. Weird and fun!
Thanks so much, Kendall! It was a pleasure. Zero anxiety, 100% fun.
I love this! From the first line to the last, they flow amazingly well together. I'd love to participate next time - sorry to have missed it!
You’re on!
What fun! Count me in next time if I see the call.
And thanks for sharing the wonderful result .
You’re on!
