Each quarter, Homecoming donates 30% of new paid subscriptions to an environmental non-profit (before Stripe and Substack take their percentage). This reciprocity in action is how your generous support of Homecoming ripples out to the wider world.

’s On the Commons Accountability post1, read below for proof of donations.Center for Humans and Nature, Winter Solstice, 2024 till Spring Equinox, 2025
Located 40 miles north of Chicago, this organization is dedicated to learning from and sharing the wisdom of nature. Our donation will support publications, programs, and communications that offer in-depth and diverse perspectives about what it means to be human in an interconnected world.
Old Growth Forest Network, Autumn Equinox till Winter Solstice, 2024
We donated $92 to the Maryland-based Old Growth Forest Network. It’s the only national network in the U.S. of protected, old-growth, native forests where people of all generations can experience biodiversity and the beauty of nature. Their goal is to locate and designate at least one protected forest in every county in the United States; so far, they’ve dedicated 276 forests.
Indigenous Environmental Network, Summer Solstice till Autumn Equinox, 2024
We donated $68 to the Indigenous Environmental Network. Through a variety of alliances, they’ve been promoting environmental and economic justice issues for over twenty years.
