Grace's decisions are always so radical and seemingly final... I am not certain she makes the right ones either but I have a hunch she has a broader plan, even if she doesn't know its exact boundaries yet...
Another emotional chapter Julie and so well read as always.
Grace is confronting so many layers, some more reluctantly than others, but theyâre all there, ready to be reintegrated. Bravo for keeping us in touch with all of them, sheâs a complex woman indeed! Sheâs fierce and stubborn and deeply sensitive and luminous. Each quality festering just beneath the surface of habit and moving her toward some sort ofâĶcatharsis I hope!
With these chapters developing Graceâs relationship with her mother and Ned, your storytelling is really exquisite. I feel like I know Grace at this point.
A beautiful sentence: "The acoustics changed by clothing layers, open windows, and humidity."
The little flash remembraces, almost like watching a puzzle being put together piece by piece. Yet, damn it Grace!!

"On Holland Island, the tooth fairy brough heron feathers and smooth stones." Oh my goodness. What a beautiful chapter, Julie. ðŠķ
Thanks!! ð

Catharsis indeed. Itâs always darkest before dawn. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Awww, many thanks, friend!
So excited to see you - and Grace - making progress. Despite - or maybe because of - the flux and flutter of love. You're a star!
Thanks, Anne!! Itâs always darkest before morning.
Hah I meant to say the flux and flutter of LIFE not love. Both and.
Right?! âšïļ
